Local's BestHaving read and enjoyed your magazine since the first issue, I thought it was time I wrote in and recommended a fantastic local deli. H.Gunton Ltd, based in Colchester, Essex, is something of a fixture in this town,having been in business since the 30's, it is the real deal, stocking all kinds of local goodsincluding Wilkin's Jam, Carter's Vineyard Wines, Suffolk Farmhouse cheeses and Wicks Manor Pork. Despite the appearance of a Tesco Express opposite, Guntons is still managing to hold its own by providing a wide range of items you just don't find in a supermarket, along withfriendly efficient service and a lovely little coffee shop upstairs. If any readers are in the area, I urge you to go and visit; if not, seek out your own local deli and and give it your support!
